The King William IV Naval Foundation provides accommodation for the needy widows and daughters of not less than forty years of age, of deceased Officers of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, Chaplains and Reserve Officers who have done mobilised service, and also for the needy wives and daughters over the age of forty, of living Officers, who through incapacity or other circumstances are unable to provide for their dependants.
The Foundation has twelve cottages at Southwick in Hampshire, just outside former HMS DRYAD, which is now the Defence School of Policing and Guarding." Show less
