We offer 7 studio flats and 14 one-bedroom flats. All flats have a separate bathroom and kitchen. There is a community room, a guest bedroom with bathroom, a Library and a coin operated laundry. The Homes also have a residents carpark. Many activities are organised by the residents or the Warden or the Trustees including trips, celebration lunches at Christmas and other occasions i.e. the Royal Wedding. There is a strong community feeling but there is no pressure to join in with community facilities if a resident would rather not.
The Warden lives on site and visits each resident every day between Monday and Thursday to ensure all is well with the Assistant Warden visiting on Friday and in the absence of the Warden. The warden cannot provide any personal care and with the support of relatives and friends and Social Services if necessary, we hope you will be independent for as long as you wish. There is an emergency call system which the Warden will answer when on duty. At other times the call will be answered by someone else who will get help to you quickly." Show less
