It enables older people to live in their own flats and receive a level of personal care and support tailored to meet their individual needs from a staff team on site 24 hours a day.April 2006: "St John’s Court is owned and managed by Somer Community Housing Trust. Of the 51 flats at the scheme, 30 are designated as Extra Care and the remaining 21 offer ordinary sheltered housing. Since the scheme opened most of the 30 extra care flats have been let and we anticipate that the scheme will be full in a few weeks."" Show less
