Show more "Ekta Ghar, Moat’s retirement scheme for Asian elders in Gravesend, has received a refurbishment in line with our vision to improve the quality of our retirement homes. This includes a full upgrade to the heating system and complete redecoration of the communal areas.We worked with interior design firm Homesmith’s to consult with the residents and freshen up the much-used communal spaces at the scheme, giving special attention to the wants and cultural needs of the client group. This scheme is highly regarded in the Asian community due to its proximity to the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara, which many residents visit daily. A generous £5000 donation was made by a local Gravesend resident and used to buy some pieces of distinct Punjabi and Indian artwork.
