This was achieved as a joint project with Orwell Housing Association by whom the new Almshouses are operated and managed as part of the Drift Court Sheltered Housing complex.The trustees retain Nomination Rights to the new flats, the occupants of which have full access to the other facilities of Drift Court. The new flats are of incomparably higher standard than the old flats, and during a monitoring visit the national Association of Almshouses representatives expressed themselves delighted with the project."
