Show more "Peterborough Almshouse Trust is a registered charity providing housing for people aged 60 years or over, who are in need financially or otherwise. Residents must be able to live independently and be self sufficient, since the Trust is not able to provide medical or nursing care.The Trust offers accommodation in 31 bungalows and 24 flats. The majority of these are for single occupation, with one available for dual occupancy.
We have a lovely comfortable communal lounge which is available for use by the residents. A coffee morning is held here every Monday morning where many of the residents get together to have a chat and a coffee. There is usually a raffle held as well. It can be also used for private functions by request.
