Show more "Set in Bolton Le Sands on Morcambe Bay, we have two beautiful buildings; Bolton Lodge which is a grade two listed building built in 1980 with nine rooms, and Procter House which is a converted barn consisting of five flats. The houses have the most beautiful gardens with a summer house for the residents to enjoy along with a bright garden room that leads to a seated patio area, perfect for relaxing in the fresh air.
Morecambe Bay is a beautiful place, known for its stunning sunsets and natural landscapes. The Lancaster Canal runs through the town just 200 yards from the house. There are good transport links to nearby Lancaster, Morecambe and Carnforth. The local library is across the road from the house and churches are within walking distance.
We have a local butcher, greengrocer and many convenience stores nearby and we are very fortunate to be close to an award winning fish and chip shop.
We hold coffee mornings every day which are very much enjoyed by our residents and organise trips throughout the year. We have garden parties in the summer for the local community to attend and plenty of events, themed activities and wonderful food at Christmas time.
Abbeyfield Living Society is a trading name of The Abbeyfield Society." Show less
