Squirrel and Valley Courts offers housing and support for individuals aged 60, or over 55 with a physical or sensory disability. It comprises of 33 self-contained flats and a communal room which can be used by customers for social activities and meetings.
Each flat has an emergency pull cord system that provides 24 hour emergency assistance. This connects directly to the Scheme Manager during office hours and to Astraline at all other times.
We work together with other agencies as part of a joined-up approach to promote independence, build confidence and increase the level of basic skills to live independently.
Our Scheme Manager is available from Monday – Friday to offer support and assistance with all housing related issues. There are regular social activities held at the scheme including coffee mornings, bingo sessions. The scheme also has lounge, kitchen facilities and communal parking areas. There is also a twin bedded guest room, which for a nominal charge can be rented by friends or family when visiting." Show less
