Each flat is cosy and includes a fridge and cooking facilities. On-site facilities include a twin guest room, laundry room, communal lounge and communal garden patio areas. The court is located in a residential area in Gateshead and has large spacious grounds, well tended by the residents gardening club. It is a ten minute walk to the local metro system, which enables easy travelling to all coastal routes and main towns. Resident social activities at the court include coffee mornings, exercise/fitness class, bingo, social events, outings or trips, carpet bowls and tabletop sales – all incorporate the local community.Our Court Manager Service is an important and integral part of Housing 21’s approach to supporting our residents. It is designed to offer support and security to the court and those residents on court who need it. The service is about promoting and encouraging individuals to maintain their independence in their own home.
