Show more "Located close to the beautiful marshes of Porlock Bay, John Barnes Court consists of 8 single studio flats and 16 one bedroom flats. All flats are equipped with an electric cooker, refrigerator and new bathrooms with showers have been installed. On-site facilities include a communal lounge with a kitchen, a laundry room and two guest rooms for friends and family. The court is situated just off the High Street of Porlock, so the local shops, including two small supermarkets, bakers, butchers, post office and chemist, are only a short walk away. The main town of Minehead is just 6 miles away and there is a regular bus service which stops outside the court.Our Court Manager Service is an important and integral part of Housing 21’s approach to supporting our residents. It is designed to offer support and security to the court and those residents on court who need it. The service is about promoting and encouraging individuals to maintain their independence in their own home.
