At Waveney Court we offer purpose-built rental properties for people over the age of 60 or over 55 if you are in receipt of PIP (Personal Independence Payment) or DLA (Disability Living Allowance). Each flat consists of a kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedroom/s with a 24-hour alarm service if ever you have an emergency.
Waveney Court offers a wide range of facilities, including communal lounge and gardens, an on-site laundry, communal parking bays and a guest room for visitors. The flats are located close to local amenities including bus routes, local shops, GP surgery and very close to Newcastle town centre. There is a weekly hairdresser that visits the scheme, as well as various weekly activities on the scheme organised by residents that give residents the opportunity to socialise. There is a Scheme Manager service responsible for the management of the building, security and communal areas.
