Our sheltered housing is designed primarily for people aged 60 years and over. It provides a safe, secure and supportive environment for people wishing to live independently in their own homes. Our sheltered housing with care schemes can provides a personal care and support service to tenants.

There is a Sheltered Housing Officer on duty Monday to Friday , their main duty is to act as a facilitator to check that tenants are able to look after themselves.
The Sheltered Housing Officer’s main responsibilities are:
To deal with emergencies.
To ensure that the building and equipment is secure and in good order.
To encourage tenants to be as independent as possible.
To liaise with other agencies on behalf of tenants: family, Doctors and care agencies.

Milton Keynes Council sheltered housing service is accredited to CSH Service Excellence Standards 2016 – rated good (2 stars). We participate in the EAC consultation service and are pleased to have won awards at the National Housing for Older people awards in both 2014 and 2015.

All our properties are connected to the Community Alarm Service with a 24 hr response to emergencies.

Weekly Social activities include: Coffee mornings, bingo, whist, monthly lunch, art group, and board games, organised by Tenants. New residents accepted from 55 years of age. Both cats & dogs generally accepted, but not to be replaced (If property is suitable).
