Moatview Court is a sheltered housing facility promoting independent living for people over 60 years of age. It has the advantage of a 24 hour emergency call system, which is manned by the scheme manager when on duty (8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday) and covered by a call centre during all other times (currently Norh Herts Careline).
Assessment of outcomes

The housing association conducts regular surveys to determine residents' satisfaction. Residents are involved in the annual budget and accounts meetings for the estate. They are regularly consulted regarding placing of maintenance contacts, and they are also invited to take part in various management activities in general as part of resident involvement policies.
