Granby House provides a secure home for eight elderly residents. Each has their own private self-furnished room, with ensuite facilities. The residents have lunch and tea cooked for them, and they eat together as a household.Granby House is a not-for-profit housing association. It is run by a committee of volunteers. There is a volunteer house manager, and four paid staff. A member of staff is on duty between 8am and 7pm every day. A member of staff is on call at night, and can be at the house in around 10 minutes if a resident presses their alarm button.
Located in the rural village of Youlgrave, between Bakewell and Matlock, Granby House is opposite the doctors' surgery, and very close to the church and the playing fields.
