The scheme has it's own carpark. Bus services to Hastings, Eastbourne and many other destinations leave from the high street. Battle Train Station is approximately 1 mile away.

There are some very pretty shops in Battle High Street. Lots of coffee shops, pubs, and restaurants. For those who like to walk, the Great Battle Woods is approximately 1 mile from the town and there are easy and hard walks, all sign posted within the woods. Also at the top of Battle High Street is the start of the 1066 walk down through the fields and over the styles. There are art galleries in the high street for all you art lovers. The market is held twice a week in the square by Jempson's Supermarket. Lots of good deals to be had. For book worms there is Battle Library which is at the end of the high street.

We don't operate a direct waiting list - you'll need to register with the local authority (Rother) to complete an application form for housing. You must have a local connection to this area. The local authority will then consider your application and provide you with a priority banding depending on your personal circumstances. You can then bid on the properties you are eligible for."
