Show more "We have an exciting new care home opening in Thornbury, South Gloucestershire, in late 2017. The Grace Care Centre will offer personalised 24 hour specialist dementia care in a comfortable, modern environment. Set for completion in late 2017, the new 70 bed dementia care centre will be split over three floors and will incorporate a number of features to promote reminiscence as therapy. The home will be arranged in small "household" units, each having their own homely living area, with sitting room, kitchen and dining area. The large single bedrooms will all have en suite shower and toilet facilities, although assisted bathrooms are also provided in each household. All rooms have access to Sky and digital TV, Wi-Fi as well as a 24-hour nurse call facility. Additional features of the home will include a café, craft room, cinema and hair and beauty salon. The external area will provide safe and secure gardens with access from each of the ground floor households as well as communal gardens accessible from the cafe area and living rooms."
