Scarlet House care home will have 86 bedrooms and has been designed around a circular plan. This is particularly helpful for residents with dementia to find their way around the home independently. There are no confusing dead ends, what’s more, quiet rooms, sitting areas and lounges create ‘destination’ areas throughout the home where they can rest and take part in activities.
Bedrooms and communal spaces will be beautifully designed, bright and spacious – perfect for the many planned activities, for reading or relaxing, or for catching up with friends and family. Each bedroom will have an en-suite wet room plus quality furniture and soft furnishings, a flat-screen television, adjustable profile bed and a 24-hour nurse call system. Residents will be welcome to bring their own items of furniture or pictures to make their rooms feel more like home." Show less
