Show more "The home boasts 42 tastefully decorated bedrooms which are set out over two floors with bespoke furniture and en-suite facilities including wet-room showers.Each bedroom at Herald Lodge also includes a flat screen TV, DVD player and mini-fridge, access to Freeview and telephone and internet facilities.We encourage residents to personalise their rooms with pictures, trinkets and ornaments.There are three quiet lounges and two main lounges, one of which is regularly turned into a cinema room complete with projector screen and popcorn machine.There is a coffee shop which sells tea, coffee, cakes and confectionery with proceeds going to the Resident’s Fund – the residents really enjoy getting involved in the running of the small coffee shop.There is also a hairdressing salon should residents fancy some pampering.
Residents of Herald Lodge are kept busy with indoor golf, board games, arts and crafts, baking, bingo and regular entertainers.Some residents also enjoy woodwork and have made and painted bird boxes which now take pride of place in the gardens at Herald Lodge.The well-maintained gardens can be accessed from the ground floor lounges and include a water feature, plenty of seating for sunny days and a raised bed for vegetables which are used within the home.
Should residents fancy a trip out, there are plenty of local places to visit including a safari park, Twycross Zoo, local garden centres and even boat trips on the Coventry Canal.
