The design of the building means that it is bright and fresh with lots of natural light. The floors are all level, which means that people with mobility issues can access all areas of the scheme.On site we have a communal restaurant and lounge , small shop, hairdressers, laundrette, IT suite/library and a large meeting room. Within the residential area we have a therapy suite, which has been used by an osteopath, chiropodist, beauty therapy, holistic therapy, etc. and a hobby room. On each floor we have smaller quiet seating areas for people to enjoy time outside of their apartments on their own or a smaller group.
The onsite staff team work towards enabling people to live as independently as possible by combining the facilities at Maes Mwldan (including assistive technology) with a positive and encouraging approach." Show less
