It is considered to be at the forefront of dementia care provision. Roselea House has 20 large single occupancy rooms, all en-suite with showers, in a single storey building. During the planning of the refurbishment advice was taken from Stirling University Dementia Services Development Centre and incorporated in to the interior design features to provide solutions for people with dementia. Some of the features are:-Dementia signposting, including 3D tactile signposting.
Individual memory boxes on bedroom doors.
3D tactile memory murals.
Non-intrusive call bell system with sensory activated lighting in bedroom" Show less
