The 60 bedroom nursing facility is now at the forefront of care in Fife with 58 large single rooms and two large double rooms for couples. All bedrooms have en suite toilet and wet floor shower facilities.Preston House has been designed to meet and indeed surpass all current safety regulations and requirements. A state of the art sprinkler system, addressable fire alarm system allowing immediate identification of the source of any fire and swing free door closers feature throughout the building to enhance the safety of residents and staff. Wide corridors with fixed handrails aid less mobile and wheelchair bound residents and low surface temperature radiators create a safer environment for all.
From the underground car park residents and visitors have access directly into the basement of the building and can come and go without being exposed to the weather. Two lifts provide access to the ground and upper floors.
An attractive reception greets those arriving on foot with seating where residents can also relax and meet visitors to the building.
