Show more "The Elms is the first large scale extra care housing scheme to be built in Aylesbury. It was built in partnership with Buckinghamshire County Council and received grant funding of £1.8 million from the Department of Health.

This development of 28 apartments has been built with embedded features and new technology so that it can respond to the changing needs of residents. All the apartments are wired for an intelligent telecare monitoring system, which can be activated if needed for the current or future residents. These systems watch over residents who are frail through illness, disability or old age, and summon help automatically if it is needed. This is the first extra care scheme that we have future-proofed in this way." Show less
