"Phoenix House is an extra care scheme providing 49 comfortable individual apartments for older adults who are able to live on their own but who may have personal care and support needs.

Situated in the popular area of Shirley, Phoenix House is ideal for easy access to the town and surrounding areas, as well as local shops and amenities, which afford residents increased independence and choices in their daily living. Living in well-equipped accommodation with emergency cord-activated alarms, residents have peace of mind with the knowledge that any care and support needed can be provided at any time of the day or night by a dedicated, experienced team.

While retaining their own privacy in self-contained accommodation, residents also become active members of Phoenix House’s community by using the on-site services or participating in a range of activities provided by the scheme.

Phoenix House’s excellent communal facilities include a restaurant, shop, lounge, laundry and hairdressing salon. The scheme is a joint partnership between Accord Housing Association and Solihull Care Housing Association." Show less
