Lakeside is situated a few miles from Okehampton and lies within extensive landscaped grounds on the edge of Dartmoor including lawns, flowerbeds, and lakes with a footpath perimeter accessible to all residents.
It was originally a B&B, but after the family took on the role of carer to a loved one they realised that they wanted to make a difference; they saw that older people often don’t get the quality of care they deserve after a life of contribution. So they took about the task of turning their business into an exceptional residential home and Lakeside care home was established in 2009." Show less
