Show more "St Oswald's Village provides 166 affordable homes in the form of one and two bedroom self-contained apartments and eight bungalows, located around an extensive village centre providing social, learning and leisure opportunities for both residents and the wider community. Our properties are available for rent, shared ownership and purchase. The Village features extensive communal facilities, including a village hall, shop, a restaurant, bar and a library. There is also an IT suite, a greenhouse, and a craft and woodwork shop. The fitness and wellbeing centre has additional opportunities for residents to try new skills such as painting in water colours, Tai Chi and wheelchair aerobics. St Oswald's Village is the result of a partnership between Rooftop Housing Group, Gloucester City Council, and ExtraCare Charitable Trust.
An on-site care team, managed by the Trust, provides up to 24-hour support. Approximately a quarter of residents within the Village receive help with their care, potentially going up to a third. Dependent on individual circumstances we can support residents with significant assessed care needs, including dementia.
The opportunity to live in the Village is primarily open to the over 55s living in Gloucester. If you live in Gloucestershire or further afield, you may also be considered if you have a local connection with the city." Show less
