Show more "Plas Garnedd is a registered home for the elderly in the village of Llanberis some 6 miles south of Caernarfon & 9 miles from Bangor. It is situated in over an acre of landscaped gardens and lawns in a rural setting with spectacular views towards Snowdon and the other mountains surrounding the valley. It is within walking distance of the shops and other amenities in Llanberis. The staff are mostly bilingual and the registered manager is a fully qualified nurse (RGN).The centre was first registered in 1982. Since 2004 it has been completely refurbished with new building work and furniture and fittings. There are two lounges, one with a wood burning stove which is kept alight throughout the winter, and a third lounge for the private use of visitors and their families and friends." Show less
