Show more "St Stephen's Care home is a modern, purpose-designed 51 bedded residential care home set in a quiet residential cul-de-sac close to the town centre of Worcester. We provide personalised residential and respite care for older people, including individuals with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia and physical disabilities. We also offer supportive and compassionate end of life care. Our home has a strong reputation for giving excellent 24 hour care and support for people of 55 years and over.It is close to local amenities; although public transport is available with a bus stop close by providing access to Worcester and Birmingham.
St Stephen's was upgraded and refurbished in 1999 and is a large three-storey building with a shaft lift to enable easy access between floors. At St Stephen's there is an adjoining day centre open to non-residents. St Stephens also has an attractive level central garden with a raised fishpond, a seating area as well as a sensory garden. The garden includes a water feature, scented plants, flower beds, bushes and shrubs, pagoda with clematis and Jasmin, rockery. There's garden furniture and seating area for to enjoy the outdoors. The garden with its pathways is accessible also by wheel chairs to explore flower beds, and shrubs. It is a secure area promoting peace and tranquillity with wind chimes.

We spend lots of time getting to know new residents and finding out about their experiences, interests and memories.
