Built in 1965, we have ten lovely en-suite rooms. We provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere where residents can remain as independent as possible. We offer a range of activities from coffee mornings to trips out to garden centres, to quizzes in the home.We provide two healthy and delicious meals a day, which are cooked and prepared at the house. Our qualified cooks pride themselves on providing excellent food which is all freshly prepared, and where possible, using locally sourced produce. Each house has an individual approach to catering for their residents, with menus being tailored to dietary needs and special events. But we always offer plenty of choices, including vegetarian options, and great portion sizes!
For those looking for friendship or companionship, we have a beautiful and spacious communal living room and conservatory, the ideal place for meeting up, getting to know other residents, enjoying a game, puzzle or cup of coffee and a chat.
Why not while away the hours in the sunshine in our splendid and extensive garden, where you can enjoy the sounds of nature, sit reading a good book, do a spot of gardening or meet up with family and friends.
Our home is in a great location, with good bus links to Wrexham and Chester for those wishing to travel further afield. If you fancy a bit of fresh air, we're only a short walk from Acton Park where you can enjoy amazing scenic views. We're also across the road from an excellent pub which serves delicious food, the perfect place to go for when you have visiting friends and family. Abbeyfield House is also walking distance from the local shop, post office and chemist." Show less
