Show more "With its beautiful location in a green belt area, thoughtfully designed purpose-built accommodation, and private rooms with en suite facilities for up to 85 residents, Woodlands offers a safe place for people with dementia and nursing needs, all within the picturesque county of Cheshire.Above all, there are the dedicated members of staff who combine professionalism with a real interest in each individual – offering the person-centred care that lies at the heart of MHA’s values.
We take the time and care to get to know each resident, talking to them and their families about their likes and dislikes and personal backgrounds and stories. This enables us to assist each person to develop the kind of daily routine that they wish for and to help each resident feel valued.
Communal areas, including the gardens, keep people engaged and in company, but the private single rooms mean that you can withdraw and enjoy a little quiet personal time whenever you choose. The busy and varied activity programme fills the days for those who wish and the home’s links with the local Ring and Ride keep everyone well connected to the wider world.
MHA is committed to nurturing spiritual as well as physical needs. For example, we provide alternative therapies such as reflexology and music therapy to residents, while our Chaplain offers pastoral support to all at Woodlands, whatever their beliefs.
