Eden encourages older people to care for plants and gardens as well as interact with animals and the local community.Residents help to look after the scheme’s pet parrot and have also worked with a local college to create a beautiful sensory garden.
Staff at Bennett House work extremely hard to ensure residents are happy, feel fulfilled and are involved in the local community.
Activities and events involving residents are held regularly and since we started the Eden Alternative satisfaction amongst residents has increased.
Bennett House is a bungalow style residential care scheme for older people run by Accord Housing Association.
It provides accommodation for men and women over the age of 65 and has an emphasis on individual care, providing the maximum amount of privacy and dignity to each resident." Show less
