We provide excellent care to all our residents, taking into consideration their health & care needs as well as individual life style choice and preferences. A personal care plan for every resident tailors the care and support we provide taking into account the need for privacy whilst promoting independence.Our person centred approach means each resident is respected as an individual and treated with dignity. We actively promote equality, diversity and human rights of every person.
Our aim is to ensure our residents consider Wingates Residential Home as their home as people matter to us. We are committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for the wellbeing of all our residents, staff and visitors. We recognise that our residents and staff are our most important assets.
We support & encourage continual professional development of staff, provide training opportunities and skills development in all departments to have a dependable skills mix of staff at the home at any time.
We maintain a positive attitude towards change and continually strive for excellence in our services and the quality of care. We have Internet access (hard wired) to all the rooms, three lounges, family room and an Internet café in the dining room for residents to use. There is a lift to the first floor and other facilities include a walk in shower, Apollo bath, and a treatment room for medical professionals. There is also a large training room with a computer and printer.
A bedroom with en-suite WC is available for any resident’s relation in the event that the resident is receiving palliative care (terms and conditions apply).
Varied activities are carried out and include a short holiday and day trips during the year. Residents’ relations meetings are held twice a year and quality checks are on-going daily. Wingates is a home from home." Show less
