Living at home can become harder as you get older. But choosing to move into supported living accommodation doesn't have to mean losing your independence. In fact, many of our residents tell us it feels like a new beginning.

Show more "Situated in the seaside town of Ryde on the beautiful Isle of Wight, The Lodge has been providing accommodation for older people wishing to remain independent since the 1960s. We have seven bedsit style rooms, each with a small kitchen area and en-suite shower room. There is a communal lounge and dining room, and a beautifully maintained private south facing garden.Every effort is made to keep The Lodge as homely as possible, providing a truly caring and friendly atmosphere for all of our residents. We try to make each day here a little different, be that through celebrating special occasions, going out on day-trips or simply popping out for a bite to eat together. Together with the fantastic group of volunteers who support us, we regularly have plenty of fun activities and events for you to get involved with if you wish.
We always celebrate resident’s birthdays in style and at Christmas, residents, staff and volunteers all come together to enjoy a delicious Christmas lunch with all the trimmings at a fantastic local restaurant.
Our aim is to provide a warm and welcoming home, and to make sure each of residents continues to live a happy, active and stress-free life. With the added benefit of a House Manager that lives on site, The Lodge is a safe and secure place to live.
Our qualified cooks pride themselves on providing excellent food which is all freshly prepared, and where possible, using locally sourced produce. We provide two healthy and delicious meals a day, which are cooked and prepared within the home." Show less
