Show more "The Laurels has seven rooms equipped with a kitchenette and an ensuite bathroom with a toilet, wash hand basin and shower. One of the rooms has recently been refurbished, with french doors leading out onto the patio garden. We also have a flat available for couples or a single person wanting a separate bedroom.We provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere where residents can remain as independent as possible. We offer a range of regular social activities including coffee mornings, sherry mornings and garden parties.
The Laurels offers affordable, high quality living for older people who want to be as independent and self-reliant as possible without the worry of maintaining their own home.
There is a communal dining room and a communal lounge with a large screen television for residents to enjoy if they wish. We also have amazon Prime so residents can watch a film if they wish. One of the major features of the house is our delightful garden, this is where we hold our annual Garden Party.
Living at The Laurels means you get the best of Somerset life as we are located close to beautiful countryside and the coast. Just a short journey from the house are local amenities and some lovely eateries, cafes and National Trust properties." Show less
