Made up of 10 rooms, two one-bedroom flats and one two-bedroom flat. Our home offers older people the space to retain their independence whilst remaining part of a social and active home.

Located next to Woburn Avenue our home is quiet but benefits from good transport links to all the local amenities. In fact, we’re just a short drive away from the town centre and the famous Lincoln Cathedral – a great place to enjoy a cup of tea and some delicious Lincoln fudge.

All of our rooms come unfurnished offering residents to truly put their stamp on it. We encourage you to bring your favourite furniture, ornaments, photographs and trinkets. If you would like to redecorate you room, this can be arranged just so long as it’s returned to neutral afterwards.

Our dining room and living room are communal areas used by residents, family and friends for meal times, activities and catching up. You can often find our residents in the living room watching TV together or enjoying a good jigsaw.

Our home is fortunate enough to have a large garden with greenhouse, potting sheds and patio area. Our residents love spending time in the garden, maintaining the plants and enjoying the sunshine.

Throughout the year, we host a range of activities and events enjoyed by all in attendance. We always try to involve all of our residents in events and often invite the local community in to join us.

We’re also fortunate to have a number of volunteers who have befriended our residents and often visit to catch up and enjoy a cup of tea together.

Meal times are a sociable time at Abbeyfield House. Lunch and dinner are served in the dining room; a fantastic way to get all the residents together to chat about their day. All food is freshly prepared and we try our very best to provide healthy, well balanced meals that appeal to everyone’s taste buds.

Residents are able to suggest meals to add to the menu but a firm favourite still remains to be Caroline’s scones with cream and jam! Stop by and you might be lucky enough to try one!

We’re one big family at Abbeyfield House. We truly enjoy living and working together to create a warm, loving home.
