Show more "Nestled in the picturesque town of Crowborough bordering Ashdown Forest, an area of natural beauty and the home of Winnie the Pooh, Darwin House offers independent living and sheltered housing, also known as supported housing, in a warm and welcoming home for older people who want to enjoy retirement.Darwin was originally two Edwardian semi detached properties, subsequently joined and converted into suitable accommodation for older people to live independently with support. We have eight en-suite rooms. All rooms have been refurbished with low level access showers. Each room has Wi-Fi access enabling you to browse online or chat with friends and family.
Darwin House is a friendly, homely retirement home, run by a team of staff and volunteers who are very experienced, kind, and thoughtful. We extend a warm welcome to resident’s families and guests, offering them the opportunity to enjoy an overnight stay with their loved ones." Show less
