Show more "Woodroffe Benton House and Goodwin Court provide CQC registered accommodation and treatment for persons who require nursing care. We specialise in caring for adults who require nursing due to frailty of age and for those who need, although not exclusively, end of life care.The Registered Nurse led Care Team aims to provide individualised care to each resident based on their own strengths and needs. The resident (and their family if the resident so wishes) are actively encouraged to collaborate in the care planning and review process.
We can accommodate up to 34 people, both men and women, within the two interconnected buildings. In addition to their own private room, with en suite toilet, residents are able to choose to spend time in either of our two main lounges or our smaller quiet lounge, often used by residents to host their visitors in a private space.
Residents are encouraged to continue to enjoy past hobbies where practical and they are able to take up new ones and keep occupied with a dedicated activity program.
There are opportunities for friendship and socialising enabled by unrestricted visiting and introducing our new residents to other like-minded people living, working or volunteering at the home." Show less
