Throughout the home residents can take advantage of many opportunities to relax including activity and sensory rooms, a dining room, a lounge, a quiet room and a library. We also have a lovely outdoor area for residents and their visitors to enjoy in better weather. The secure courtyard gardens have raised flower beds so that everyone – including people who use wheelchairs – can easily appreciate the plants and flowers.
All rooms at Cumberland are large and comfortable, with en-suite facilities, tasteful furniture, a television connection and a 24-hour nurse call system. The home itself has various features designed to help residents who have dementia, by aiding their memories, increasing their comfort and making it easier for them to find their way around."
