Living at home can become harder as you get older. But choosing to move into supported living accommodation doesn't have to mean losing your independence. In fact, many of our residents tell us it feels like a new beginning.

Show more "We provide a peaceful, friendly atmosphere where residents can remain as independent as possible. It's a home from home with support when you need it from our professional and caring house staff and volunteers.

Abbeyfield Woodlands was built in 1870 and renovated in 1990. It has eight large en-suite bed sitting rooms in total on two floors, each with their own kitchenette.

We have a lovely large sitting room with dining room, where our resident family meet to discuss their day over the communal meals or social occasions.

There is a conservatory and well-maintained garden and flower beds at the front and side of the house, with a patio at the rear.

There is stair lift accessibility to the second floor, a 24 hour community phone line is available, and we have a laundry room for residents' use. We also have a buggy shed for mobility scooters and limited car parking." Show less
