First and foremost, the safety & wellbeing of our residents is at the heart of everything we do. It always has been.
We have established COVID-19 safe spaces within our home & outside for socially distant family meetings. We've adopted video call technology to keep residents and families in touch.
We have a range of stimulating activities to help with mental and physical wellbeing, including games, exercise and craft-sessions. Our staff and residents are tested regularly in-line with government guidance and all staff have ample PPE.
We have a strict policy for new residents' entry into the home, which we are happy to share with you & answer any questions you have.
St. Michael's is a nursing home situated in Westgate-on-Sea, just a few miles away from the busy seaside resort of Margate in Kent. The home is located in a quiet and secluded residential area, surrounded by an acre of tranquil gardens, close to the sea and overlooking the nearby golf course.
Originally built as a convalescent home in 1895, St Michael's has a long history of caring and nursing. More than a century later and the same refurbished, extended and updated building continues to provide its residents with a warm, inviting space in which to be cared for.

St. Michael's offers single occupancy accommodation, spacious and comfortable rooms, with the option of en-suite facilities. The home provides three meals a day, as well as snacks and refreshments throughout the day. All food is freshly brought in, homemade and nutritionally balanced, with the menus being varied to suit clients' needs and likes.
By living at St. Michaels there is never the need to be lonely, as visitors and relatives are welcome at any time. Friendships and interaction are at the heart of everything we do. That said, we understand that people will always want time to themselves and at this care home it's very easy to find. With more communal and private space than most other homes, it's easy to find your new favourite spot to watch the birds in the garden, listen to the test match, or simply catch up on the papers.
