The home warmly welcomes those in need of nursing care, including Huntington’s and Parkinson’s. Being close to the station means some on-street parking restrictions but will happily issue you a pass.Residents can stay for a day, a week, a month – however long their loved one needs support. They’ll get to relax and meet new friends, giving you complete peace of mind.
Everyone needs a break from time to time. The dedicated respite room can be booked up to a year in advance, staff are happy to accept last-minute requests too.
A modernised former private house that has many stylish comforts, such as an oak-panelled lounge, fireplace and an ornate ceiling. Secluded gardens each with a shady pergola enable clients to make the most of the summer weather.
Residents have their personal plan in place to ensure their dietary tastes are accounted for, and snacks and refreshments can be enjoyed throughout the day.
Residents soon feel settled. The home was once a large private house, so it has a homely feel and it's on a leafy street surrounded by neighbours. The residents’ committee ensures that everyone has a say and their own dog is on duty every weekday from 7 am to 4 pm!
If they choose, residents can benefit from the busy schedule of activities at Field House and they are also able to pursue the hobbies and interests they enjoy. There is a separate activities room and wifi available throughout the home.
The home also offers daycare. Residents are welcome between 9.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, for a few hours or the full day. In some cases, staff may be able to help at the weekend or during the evening. Everyone is offered morning coffee, lunch and activity with afternoon tea.
