The home has a friendly atmosphere and prides itself on the home cooking that residents benefit from. Somerset House Nursing Home organises lots of activities for residents to take part in both inside and outside of the home environment.We have accommodation for up to 43 residents in our refurbished 19th Century House, all rooms are en-suite and we have 4 lounges and a separate dining area & conservatory for residents to relax in. We also have a central courtyard and scented garden for those who wish to spend time outdoors. We have a busy activities program for those who wish to be involved and one of our most special visitors is Joey the Donkey, who has been visiting us regularly for almost 2 years now. Also Tikka the PAT (Pets as Therapy) dog now visits monthly and is also adored by residents and staff alike." Show less
