The home offers long and short-term care and rehabilitation programmes for those who are looking to transition. Chaseley also offers therapy support in the on-site disabled access gym and neurological physiotherapy and occupational therapy services.
Staff care for residents aged 18 years and older who have high, complex care needs that consist of a wide range of neurological disabilities including spinal injury, acquired brain injury, stroke and loss of limbsisease.
The setting has a beautiful seafront location with landscaped gardens and is an ideal environment for respite services.
Chaseley enables people to maximise choice and control over their lives and respects the privacy and dignity of those in their care.
The large therapy team provide specialist rehabilitation programmes of support for individuals following accident or injury recovery, either as part of care funded packages or purchased privately. The specialist neuro-physiotherapy team support rehabilitation and can undertake specialist postural seating assessments. Occupational therapy support is provided for those recovering or looking to improve their overall health and wellbeing and gain independence.
Chaseley Trust offers a wide range of enjoyable social events as organised by the Activities team, including seat-based yoga, arts, crafts, cooking, singing cub, gardening club and a monthly evening disco.
There is a specialist Activate gym at the home which further supports the focus on good physical health or improved wellbeing. The gym also offers sessions for those living in the community with a disability to benefit from using the adapted disabled accessible equipment.
