Show more "Ashgrove is a 45 bed care home, registered to provide residential, dementia, long stay, respite and day care. I have a fantastic team of carers and ancillary staff who are welcoming and friendly, and who provide service and comfort at the highest level.A person-centred approach is adopted for all our residents here at Ashgrove. This facilitates a purpose for the residents’ days, and in turn increases their self worth and self esteem which enriches not only their lives, but that of their families and friends.
We believe that with our happy, homely environment and caring competent staff, we provide the second best thing to being at home. We offer companionship, choice, excellent food and personalised social activities, with many opportunities to socialise, in a variety of day rooms and lounge areas. Our care home is furnished to exacting standards, with large comfy seating, incorporating the latest in safety equipment, whilst maintaining a homey feeling. Residents choose how they want their rooms decorated, and they are encouraged to personalise them with their own furniture pieces, photos and other mementos to ease the transition, and to further add to the homely atmosphere. TV, telephone and internet points are all provided, and we hold regular meetings with residents, their families and friends, to see how we can improve the services we deliver." Show less
