The house sits within its own beautiful and mature secluded gardens that are a special feature of the home.There are two south-facing level gardens, both of which are terraced and feature a number of different seating areas, surrounded by scented flowers and shrubs.
The waterfall-fed ponds provide a wonderful home for fish and frogs and are the focal point of a habitat that attracts plenty of birds and other wildlife for all to see. It is a delight just to sit outside on warm, sunny days, socialising and enjoying the garden ambiance.
The front of the house has two beautiful large bay windows in which to sit and look out on the gardens and views across the countryside. Inside the home there are high ceilings, original mouldings and we have added period furnishings to complement its Victorian heritage. The two lounges offer a choice of style and comfort. There is a mix of accommodation for 32 residents, with 28 single rooms and two companion rooms. All of them have en-suite facilities and are large, bright and take advantage of the stunning views."
