The house has a long association with the surrounding community, having been established in 1955 by local people for the benefit of the elderly in the area.
North Argyll House is registered with the Scottish Care Commission for 27 residents and is a registered charity (i.e. a non-profit making association). In these difficult economic times we are grateful for all financial support whether through donations or legacies.
The house, although equipped with every modern comfort, retains an air of unhurried tranquility. It has a welcoming atmosphere and a sense of family that ensures residents feel relaxed and at home.
