The home sits next to a historic church and charming thatched cottages, nestled in a traditional village setting. Set within stunning grounds overlooking the estuary and surrounding countryside, Heanton specialises in supporting individuals with complex nursing care, including dementia and other neurocognitive disorders and expressive behaviours.
To enhance quality of life and deliver truly personalised complex care support, Heanton is divided into four smaller houses. This small-group living model is a proven approach allows for tailored routines, and supports residents, who the home refer to as family members, to live with purpose and dignity.
