The Home embraces the David Sheard “Butterfly Model” of Person Centred Dementia Care, recognising the importance of living in the moment and realising that feelings matter most when delivering care, especially to those living with Dementia.
The Home offers a variety of single and companion bedrooms, and has a number of communal areas including a cinema room. Hazelgrove’s accessible garden is at the heart of the home, and includes a chicken coop with chickens, sensory plants, ample seating and an allotment area where residents are encouraged to grow vegetables for the kitchen."
