This is the most fundamental aspect of their training, be they a carer, domestic or even the handyman. The environment at Thornfield also helps achieve this with lots of activities available from the qualified team of staff. There are cosy areas to sit and enjoy. A 1960's replica sitting room an area with seaside memorabilia as well as The Snug Inn. The ambience throughout the home is homely, stimulating and fun. There is a General Store where toiletries and sweets can be purchased and a Hair Salon where residents can also enjoy a bit of pampering with aromatherapy and manicures.
