The home is set within spacious grounds, and all accommodation is situated on the ground floor. Ancliffe enjoys excellent links within the local community and residents are able to interact with people from all ages.Manager, Joy Hogarth, is a qualified and experienced care professional. She holds the Registered Managers Award and qualifications in care, teacher training and assessment. She has worked in the care industry since leaving school, initially as a nursery nurse and then as a student nurse before she found her vocation in residential care for older people. She has worked in this field for the past 30 years and been a Registered Manager for 22 years.
Ancliffe has 40 single bedrooms, four of which have en suite facilities. All rooms are comfortable and spacious, and have television points. There are five separate lounge areas and three dining rooms. At least one of the lounges is fitted with a hearing loop, a discreet device to improve sound reception and aid those with hearing difficulties.
