Additionally, Oaklands is situated close to the local train station, which provides rail links to York and Leeds.Oaklands provides residential/personal, nursing, dementia, palliative care, day care and respite services. The home provides accommodation for up to 44 elderly people in single en-suite rooms. A dedicated and specifically designed dementia unit called The Acorn Suite is now able to take clients after a recent refurbishment.
